The “Environment Protection and Natural Use” master’s education program provides deep, comprehensive knowledge, skills and abilities for conducting scientific research work, processing and interpreting the received information in the fields of environment, environmental protection and natural use.
The goal of the program is to prepare competitive specialists through the creation of effective educational and organizational conditions that contribute to the development of scientific and educational, collaborative competencies. 80% of the curriculum has been modernized, approximating European best practices, to develop the capacity of acquiring complex and internationally competitive environmental knowledge. Students progress from environmental geochemistry, radioecology, environmental monitoring, ATS and remote sensing technologies to ecotoxicology and food safety. Research and design education has been implemented in the department for several years now.
